Indio Water Authority (IWA) invites sealed proposals to the IWA Corporate Yard for supply and delivery of bulk 12.5% sodium hypochlorite to IWA's various water production facilities covering the initial contract period from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2022. At the sole discretion of the Indio Water Authority (IWA), the contract may be extended up to four (4) additional, one (1) year terms. Annual renewals, if granted, will cover the fiscal year period of July 1st through June 30 The IWA may make such investigations as it deems necessary to determine the ability of the Proposer to provide the goods and/or service as specified, and the Proposer shall furnish to the IWA, as is commercially reasonable, all such information and data for this purpose. The IWA may discuss or negotiate with one or more firms prior to award and reserves the right to reject any proposal. The IWA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, either separately or as a whole and to waive any informality in a proposal or to accept any proposal presented which it deems best suited to the interest of the IWA, and is not to be bound to accept the lowest price. However, the IWA will not be obligated to purchase specific quantities and reserves the right to purchase either more or less product, as it deems necessary. No adjustments will be made in the Delivered Price per Gallon as proposed in the RFP Price Form regardless of quantities purchased. The IWA reserves the right to eject and refuse entry to any non-compliant, combative, or hostile Company's employee.
