Working plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
*As of January 2023, a design/build team has been awarded. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2024. The City of Fredericksburg, Virginia submits this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to solicit Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from those entities (Offerors) interested in contracting to Design and Construct Improvements to Upgrade and Expand the City's wastewater treatment plant This RFQ and the resulting Comprehensive Agreement are being procured through the use of solicited proposals pursuant to the Virginia PublicPrivate Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act of 2002 (PPEA). The purpose of this RFQ is to solicit information that will enable the City to determine which Offerors: (a) are best qualified to successfully execute the design and construction of the Project; and (b) will be invited to submit detailed cost proposals.
