Site work for a civil project in Burns, Wyoming. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

**According to Michael Olsen, bidders will have to directly obtain plans from M.C. Schaff & Associates / Scottsbluff for bidding purposes. The project is generally described as the final excavation and lining of the Cell E and constructing the LCRS for that cell. The lining of Cell E consists of approximately 220,100 square feet of a geocomposite, 60 mil HDPE geomembrane, and geosynthetic clay liners; 16,300 cubic yards of soil for the cell s operation layer; 190 cubic yards of gravel; 7,500 square feet of 8 oz/sy geotextile wrap; 160 feet of perforated, 6 inch HDPE pipe; 165 feet of non-perforated, 6 inch HDPE pipe; 10 feet of perforated, 12 inch HDPE pipe; 165 feet of non-perforated, 12 inch HDPE pipe; 30 feet of perforated, 18 inch HDPE pipe; 330 feet of non-perforated, 18 inch HDPE pipe; one submersible leachate pump and control system; 165 feet of 1.5 inch HDPE pipe; 25 feet of 2 inch by 4 inch dual containment, HDPE pipe and fittings; and two riser bollards. Questions regarding the technical aspects or requirements of the Contract Documents are to be referred to the Project Manager, Michael Olsen, PE, M.C. Schaff & Associates, Inc. 308-635-1926. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond with sufficient surety, or a certified check or cashier s check, or bank draft on a reputable bank, for not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of such bid, payable to, and to be forfeited to, the ELCSWDD as liquidated damages if bidder fails to enter into contract within thirty (30) days after award, or fails, at the time of executing the agreement, to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. All bids will be reviewed by the Engineer and presented to the ELCSWDD for possible action at the next scheduled meeting subsequent to the date of the bid opening. Attention of the bidders is particularly called to the requirements in the Wyoming Statutes regarding preference for Wyoming products and the 5% preference, which will be given to Wyoming contractors. ELCSWDD reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive all informalities, and may accept any bid which in its opinion best serves its interests.
