Renovation of an educational facility in Big Springs, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Ritchie County Board of Education will receive separate sealed bids on a general contract for the Renovation of an existing space to create a new Wellness Center inside Smithville Elementary School in Smithville, West Virginia. Successful bidder will be provided with (3) three sets at no charge and additional sets for the cost of printing and shipping. To obtain bidding documents contact Kenzie Young, Chapman Technical Group at (304) 727- 5501 Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, made payable to the owner, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall execute and deliver to the owner within 7 days after the award, and before signing the contract, a corporate surety bond in a sum equal to at least the contract sum, and the cost of such bond shall be paid by the bidder. Pursuant to WV Code 21-11-11, Bidders are hereby notified that a current and valid WV Contractor's License Number shall accompany their bid proposal for their bid to be considered. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, the right to waive minor informalities and procedures in bidding, and the right to withhold final award of contract for 60 days after opening bids. Cutoff date for questions: May 2, 2022 - 9:00 am
