Renovation of an office development in Red Deer, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a office development.
To replace the existing HVAC system in the building to minimize the temperature control issues in the building. Remove existing rooftop and indoor air handling units with new packaged gas fired heat/cool rooftop units. Existing ducting from removed units to be replaced with new ducting, air terminal units and grilles. Existing heating water system to be replaced with new boilers and terminal units. Existing piping to be replaced with new hydronic piping. Provide new EMCS (digital control) system for new equipment and terminal units. The office building is the main office for the school division, and senior administration use this building. The staff may be relocated to another building throughout the construction project. In the event only Phase 1a proceeds, staff in the other area of the building may remain in their spaces. Owner will move furniture, Contractor is responsible for coordination. The building will not have power July 9 and 10, 2022, due to work on the adjacent building (Culture Service Building). Structural drawings will be issued through an addendum. Bids shall be prepared and submitted and the bidding process shall be administered in accordance with these bidding requirements.
