Resurfacing of Chenaur Drive from Adams Park Drive to Sunset Way, Sunset Way from Kagley Way to Second Avenue, and Birch Street and Walnut Street from Ann Street to Walnut Street, including 8,300 SY planing and process grindings, 950 TONS HMA, and utility adjustments, and replacing approximately 775 LF of sidewalk from 5th Street to 7th Street, between First Avenue and Second Avenue, including 230 CY unclassified excavation and haul, 305 LF curb and gutter, 895 SY concrete sidewalk, 4 curb ramps, and utility adjustments. This contract has thirty (30) working days to complete the work. Contract time for this project is anticipated to begin by May 22, 2022. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by bond or a certified check, payable to the order of the Treasurer of the City of Zillah for the sum of not less than 5% of said bid or proposal and none will be considered unless accompanied by such deposit, to be forfeited to the City of Zillah in the event the successful bidder shall fail or refuse to enter into a Contract with the City for the making and construction of the aforesaid improvement. All bids or proposals must be in writing on the form bound in the Specifications, sealed and filed with the Clerk on or before the day and hour above mentioned. A CONTRACT BOND in the amount of 100 percent of the CONTRACT PRICE, with a corporate Surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the Contract.
