FY2022 Sewer Improvements Contract 1. Sewer pipe and manhole rehabilitation work with installation of cured-in-place gravity sewer pipe in various sizes throughout Quincy; open cut sewer pipe replacement, backfilling and paving; and all materials and equipment. This project is to be funded in part with monies made available by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) and is to be funded in part by the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust. City of Quincy, MA (Owner) invites Bidders to submit sealed Bids for FY22 Sewer Improvements Project - Contract 1, which includes sewer pipe and manhole rehabilitation Work including installation of cured-in-place gravity sewer pipe in various sizes throughout the City of Quincy; open cut sewer pipe repair, backfilling and paving; and all materials and equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work at Locations defined in the Summary of Work. The Work for Priority 1 Locations shall be substantially complete within 90 calendar days from the commencement of Contract Time and Priority 2 Locations shall be substantially complete within 180 calendar days from the commencement of Contract Time. Post Substantial Completion Punchlist (all Work except Warranty Inspection and final paving) complete for all Locations within 210 calendar days from the commencement of Contract Time and Warranty Inspection and final paving complete (ready for final payment) within 14 calendar days prior to expiration of the Warranty Period (351 days from Substantial Completion). The goals for this Project are a minimum of 4.20 percent D/MBE participation and 4.50 percent D/WBE participation by certified DBEs. The Work includes labor, material and equipment, services required for construction, testing, and commissioning of the Project in accordance with the Contract Documents and as more specifically described in the Specifications and Drawings and includes, but is not limited to, the following principal features. 1. sewer pipe and manhole rehabilitation Work including installation of curedin-place gravity sewer pipe in various sizes throughout the City of Quincy; 2. open cut sewer pipe replacement, manhole replacement backfilling and paving; 3. and all materials and equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work.
