Renovation of a water / sewer project in Hudson, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work includes renovations and equipment upgrades to the Main St. Pump Station; Control, Headworks, and Process Buildings; replacement of Trickling Filter and Activated Sludge Clarifier Mechanisms; Aeration System Upgrades; new generators; install/replace slide gates; and other improvements. There are two bid alternates; Bid Alt 1 is concrete tank coatings and Bid Alt 2 is construction of a new detached garage. The Town of Hudson will receive general and sub-bids only from prequalified general and sub-bidders for this project. Eligible bidders were previously prequalified through a Request for Qualifications issued in March 2022. The Work involves upgrading the Hudson Wastewater Treatment Facility, including upgrading the circular clarifier systems, aeration system, select pumping systems, building improvements, generator installation, and ancillary improvements. The Work also includes improvements to the Main Street Pump Station, such as replacing the pumps, piping, and valves, new flow meter, generator installation, and other building improvements. The goals for this project are a minimum of 4.20 percent D/MBE participation and 4.50 percent D/WBE participation by certified DBEs
