Furnish and installation of new aluminum dock. A site visit packet will be provided via email to prospective bidders at the time of notification of Bidders intent to attend. Prospective Bidders are expected to print their own copy and bring it to the pre-bid meeting. No extra copies will be available at the meeting. Bidders must sign in at the time of visit. Contractors who have previously attended a pre-bid conference for this project are not required to attend a second time. This solicitation is for a one-time furnish and installation of a dock at Smith Mountain Lake State Park units according to the solicitation documents. Work must be scheduled within seven (7) days after award purchase order is issued and completed within forty-five (45) days. Vendor must be willing to invoice immediately upon completion. The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to engage a contractor to remove and dispose of an old dock which is past its useful life and tofurnish and install a new and unused dock at Smith Mountain Lake State Park located at 1235 State Park Road, Huddleston, VA 24104-9547 If a prospective bidder has questions about the solicitation documents, its the bidders responsibility to contact the Procurement Officer by e-mail ONLY; telephone calls will not be accepted.
