Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
Middletown Township is performing a mill and overlay program for several roadways within the municipal limits. In general, the work consists of, the resurfacing of several roadways within the Township with mill and overlay construction. The project will also include repaving and adding drainage to the Twin Oaks Park parking lot, and the addition of pickleball courts at the Senior Citizens Center. The scope of work is more fully described in the Project Specifications herein and on the Project Plans. The project sites are located in Middletown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania as follows and as shown on the Project Plans. 1. Doublewoods Rd, from Fulling Mill Rd to dead end; 2. Knoll Ave, entire length; 3. Shaw Ave, entire length; 4. Fairhill Ave, from Old Lincoln Highway to dead end; 5. Grand Ave, entire length; 6. S Hazel Ave, entire length; 7. Hill St, entire length; 8. Orchard Ave, entire length; 9. Walnut St/Bristol Ave, from parking lot on PFC John Delola Ave to municipal line; 10. Dogwood St, entire length; 11. Turtle Ln, entire length; 12. Deer Dr, entire length; 13. E Ravine Ave, entire length. 14. Eagle Ln, entire length; 15. Pheasant Dr, entire length; 16. Granite Ave, entire length; 17. Forget Me Not Ln, entire length; 18. Twin Oaks Park, entrance, parking lot, and a portion of walking path; 19. Middletown Senior Citizen Center, rear parking lot repaving and installation of three pickleball courts. The project consists of, the mill and overlay of multiple roadways within the Township along with associated improvements. The project will also include adding drainage to and repaving the Twin Oaks Park main parking lot, and the addition of pickleball courts at the Senior Citizens Center. This project is funded in part by Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Municipal Liquid Fuels Program. All material must meet current PennDOT Specifications. Bidders are required to provide Bid Security in an amount equal to 10% of the total amount bid. Bid Security may be provided in the form of a certified check or a bid bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to transact such business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Upon award of a contract, the Successful Bidder shall provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the awarded contract value. Upon completion of the contract, the Successful Bidder shall provide a 2-year Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the final contract value. Bidders are required to comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442, where the project cost is $100,000 or above for locally funded highway and bridge projects. Only the Successful Bidder for a contract will be responsible for payment of a fee to PennBid and for bearing the cost thereof. The amount of the fee due to PennBid is either 1/3% (0.0033) of the initial contract award amount for fixed fee contracts or 1/6% (0.00166) of the expected contract value for term contracts and will be invoiced by PennBid to the successful bidder upon award of a contract by the Local Contracting Unit. The minimum fee is set at $100.00 and the maximum fee is capped at $5,000.00. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 4/28/2022 4:00 PM
