Clarification deadline 6/13/2022 12:00 PM The County of Bucks is soliciting proposals for Design, Construction, Management and Operation of an Aerial Adventure Park from an independent contractor. The County of Bucks, Doylestown Pennsylvania (the County) is soliciting proposals for Design, Construction, Management and Operation of an Aerial Adventure Park from an independent contractor. Companies submitting proposals must have demonstrated experience in said services. Throughout this document, the singular use of the words Company, Vendor, Contractor, Proposer or Offeror shall apply to the responders of this request for each service, or all services proposed. Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted to the solicitation on the online no later than 12:00 Noon Eastern Standard Time, June 13, 2022. The County shall retain the right to inspect and review the Contractors performance under this contract and to initiate action, within the terms of the contract that it deems necessary to assure Contractor compliance. Should the Companys proposed new buildings and / or pavilions and / or proposed expanded parking lot and comfort station be included in the contract, the following County Code requirements must be met: A Before to the start of any construction work, the Company shall provide the County with a 100% Performance Bond and 100% Labor & Materials Payment Bond B The County shall apply for and provide the Company with Prevailing Labor Rates issued by the PA Department of Labor & Industry. The Company shall pay the construction workers the assigned rates for this portion of the contract work. C With the final invoice for this portion of the contract work, the Company shall provide the County a 10% Maintenance Bond. The Contract term shall not exceed 15 years (including all renewals).
