Site work and paving for a civil project in Norwich Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The T-362 West Valley Road Improvements Project includes increasing the damaged cartway width back to 18 ft. using Full Depth Reclamation paving methods which will also improve drainage conditions by re-establishing positive drainage through the 6.5 mile length. Traffic safety features and traffic control will also be included.A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project.. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price on the forms provided, with a surety company listed on the Treasury Department's most current list (Circular 570 as amended) and be authorized to transact business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of Norwich Township or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond on the form provided, executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety (Surety companies must appear on the Treasury Department's most current list (Circular 570 as amended) and be authorized to transact business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania), in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid. Norwich Township reserve the right to reject any or all bids or to waive informalities in the bidding.
