This project will provide infrastructure improvement in preparation for the arrival of the National Security MultiMission Vessel (NSMV) and upcoming academic buildings. This scope includes the completion of a new Central Utility Plant (CUP) to provide the campus with 1,300-tons of additional cooling capacity and 2,500 mbh of additional heating capacity. The planning amount for the project is $35,000,000, which includes an Amount Available for Construction Contract (AACC) of $28,861,395. Fees, furnishings, other work, miscellaneous expenses, and contingencies make up the balance of the Planning Amount. As of March 2, 2023, an issuance of short-listed firms has not been released.
