The deadline to receive submissions is May 06, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Tenders will be opened the same day at 11:01 a.m. at the municipal office at the same address. The Municipality of Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu does not undertake to accept either the lowest tender or any of the tenders received and declines all responsibility with regard to one or other of the tenderers in the event of rejection of all submissions. The contract is awarded by decision of the council of the Municipality, at its sole discretion, and the municipality cannot be bound in any way other than by a resolution of its council. As a guarantee, the tenders must be accompanied by a surety bond by certified check payable to the order of the Municipality, or a tender bond valid for 90 days from the day of the opening of the tenders issued by a company of insurance or a financial institution authorized to stand surety under the laws in force. The amount must represent ten percent (10%) of the total value of the contract. If the bond is a certified cheque, the latter will be returned as soon as possible to those whose tender has not been accepted. For the one who obtains the contract, the check can be replaced later for a guarantee of execution. Performance bond 10% is required.
