As per June 17, 2022, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid. The general construction, electrical (including fire alarm), plumbing and mechanical scopes are bid as a single prime contract under a single General Contractor. Interested bidders will be responsible for all aspects of work related to these divisions. The following provides more details for your consideration and planning. This scope includes, but is not limited to: 1. General Construction, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire, sprinkler, data will be a Single Prime GC 2. Power and Data connections for media, menus and biometric turnstiles is provided under the Single Prime GC 3. Purchase, Delivery and installation of kitchen equipment and millwork by separate sub-contractor to Sodexo. 4. Purchase, delivery and installation of Menu Board Monitors by separate contractor to Sodexo. 5. Purchase, delivery and installation of Media equipment by separate contractor to Sodexo. 6. All final kitchen equipment connections including any "hard wiring", plumbing and mechanical connections are by the Single Prime GC 7. Startup of equipment is by the kitchen equipment contractor. Specific vendor techs will be used in some cases. 8. All other HVAC equipment purchase will be by the Single Prime GC. 9. All penetrations and openings for kitchen equipment including electrical wiring, refrigerant piping, plumbing, HVAC equipment is to be done by the Single Prime GC. 10. Furniture will be thru a separate contractor to Sodexo. The use of cell phones, cameras, and any other audio or video recording devices for the purpose of recording audio or video (pictures, videos, audio) is prohibited in the non-public and work areas of the facilities. Vendors are encouraged to enforce strict policies regarding the use of social media for their employees, sub-contractors, material suppliers, etc. while working within or near facilities. WVU reserves the right to request removal of any or all personnel using any of the devices described above for the purpose of recording video or audio of any type and posting/sharing on social media platforms.
