As of November 15, 2023, the Project was awarded to Frye Roofing Inc, but amount was not disclosed. Project cost estimate is in the $25,000 to $35,000 range. The Beckley Housing Authority (BHA), located at 100 Beckwoods Drive, Beckley, West Virginia is seeking sealed proposals in response to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the replacement of the roof, soffit, facia, gutters and downspouts at 212 South Vance Drive managed by the Beckley Housing Authority on behalf of FMRS Health Systems in the City of Beckley. In order to receive consideration, a proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in West Virginia, made payable to the order of the BHA in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into a Contract with the Housing Authority. Davis Bacon wage rates, as established by the U.S. Department of Labor, and other Federal Labor Standard Provisions do not apply to this project. Bidders shall comply with all State and Federal laws prohibiting discrimination in hiring or employment opportunities.
