As of October 28, 2025, this project has been completed for months now. Any proposal received after the time and date proposals are due, will be returned unopened. In order to receive consideration, a proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in West Virginia, made payable to the order of the City of Beckley in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid amount as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into a Contract with the City Davis Bacon wage rates, as established by the U.S. Department of Labor, and other Federal Labor Standard Provisions apply. Bidders shall comply with all State and Federal laws prohibiting discrimination in hiring or employment opportunities. Should any bidder have additional questions in regard to this request for proposals, please contact Angela King, City of Beckley Grants Administrator, at (304) 256-1759 or at aking@beckley.org. The City of Beckley reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, or to waive any informality in bidding, if it is determined to be in the best interest of the City of Beckley.
