Site work and paving for a road / highway in Marysville, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work in general consists of replacing asphalt concrete surfacing (digouts), placing hot mix asphalt overlay, placing of pavement striping, and placement of shoulder backing material along various roads in Yuba County. Other such items or details not mentioned above that are required by the plans, Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions, and as directed by the Engineer, shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed. The engineers estimate is $3,435,851. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashiers check, or bid bond, in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to Yuba County Department of Public Works, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening. Question Submission Deadline:April 28, 2022, 2:00pm Question Response Deadline:April 29, 2022, 2:00pm The contract shall be executed by the successful bidder and shall be returned, together with the Payment Bond, Performance Bond and Certificate(s) of Insurance to the County so that it is received within 8 working days after the bidder has received the contract for execution. Failure to do so shall be just cause for forfeiture of the proposal guaranty.
