The project may be re-bid in the future.** Greenwood Street Sidewalk Replacement Hop Bottom Borough Project to include Construction of approximately 325 SY concrete sidewalks and curbing Bid security in the form of a certified or cashiers check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the bid will be required to accompany all bids. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond within ten(10) days after Notice of Award. Attention of bidders is called to the Federal Requirements in the Contract Documents including but not limited to Equal Employment Opportunity, nondiscrimination in hiring practices, goals for minority and female participation, MBE and WBE participation, participation by Section 3 residents and businesses, and related matters. Prevailing wages established under the Davis-Bacon Act will apply to this contract. Bidders must submit with their bids the noncollusion affidavit contained in the contract documents. Bid Envelopes to be plainly marked with the name of the project and mailed or delivered to the Susquehanna County Housing/ Redevelopment Authority, address listed above. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
