Renovation of an educational facility in Montreal, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Major upgrades, repairs and improvements to the Victor-Thérien elementary school building. The scope of work includes the reconstruction of the slab in the basement (pyrite), replacement of interior finishes, built-in furniture and interior lighting fixtures, renovation of sanitary blocks and replacement of plumbing fixtures, upgrades of emergency exits and stairwells, replacement of distribution panels including mains and meter, replacement of electrical input, upgrades of the ventilation system, boiler room, control and heating, installation of a sprinkler system, replacement of the roof and insulation, upgrades of the exterior building envelope, doors and windows. TIMELINE: The owner is implementing the project by construction packages. First construction package relating to the selective interior demolition has been already tendered, awarded and is followed in the report under CRM ID name Selective Interior Demolition - École Victor-Thérien. Construction started. Subsequent tenders for contractors are anticipated starting summer 2024 and will be followed in new separate report.
