Renovation of a mixed-use development in Champaign, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Garland DBS/Inc., pursuant to contract #PW1925 with OMNIA Partners, is requesting sitespecific pricing ("Offers") from qualified roofing contractors for the 2022 ROOF RESTORATION PROJECT for Champaign Unit School District #4 ("Project"). The successful contractor(s) will be required to enter into a subcontracting agreement with Garland DBS/Inc. in a form acceptable to Garland DBS/Inc. and to observe the fair employment practices commission rules pertaining to equal employment opportunity, and comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.., and use wage determination as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor, Conciliation, and Mediation Division dated current to the bid date. These wages will remain in effect until superseded by a new determination. Garland DBS/Inc. reserves the right, in its discretion, to (a) reject any Offer that is not in the best interest of the District or Garland DBS/Inc., including, but not limited to, for nonconforming pricing or the qualifications of the Offeree, and (b) to waive any informalities in pricing and to make award on that pricing, which, in its opinion, is most advantageous to the District.
