As of June 14, 2022 This project is awarded to SNC Construction, INC. with awarded amount of $601,747.42. Planned Work: Includes the installation and rehabilitation of drainage and sewerinfrastructure, including repairs of pipes, manholes, inlets, underdrains, pavement removal and replacement, ditch grading, backfilling, and other related work required to complete the project.Part 2 -Unplanned/Emergency Work: Includes installation, repair, and rehabilitation of various sewer and drainage infrastructure, including installation and repair of manholes and inlets, installation and repair of pipes, ditch grading, channel erosion repair, backfilling, removal and installation of pavement surfaces and other related work required to complete repairs. Unplanned/Emergency work will be utilized on an as-needed basis when rehabilitation or repairs are required and may occur at anytime during the project time frame. Unplanned/Emergency repairs will be performed on a time and material basis. (1) A utilization goal of10% MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) and 5% WBE (Woman Business Enterprise). Utilization goals refer to the percentage of work performed by MBEor WBEsubcontractors on the project.(2) A workforce participation goal of20% MBE and 15% WBE. Workforce participation goals refer to the percentage of minority and female individuals employed on a project. Bidders will be required to show that they have met one or both of the above diversity goalsor that they have made, or commit to making, good faith efforts to reach those goals. Sufficiency of good faith efforts may vary depending on the type of contract, thetype of products and/or services to be provided, and the duration of the contract.For additional information, see Sections 2.18 and 4.7 of the bid documents, or contact Rachel Joy, Community Relations Manager and Compliance Officer, at rachel.joy@champaignil.gov. The City of Champaign, Illinois, reserves the right to reject any or all bidsor portions thereof and to waive any formality or technicality in any bids in the interest of the City. The criteria for selection of the lowest responsible bidder are set forth in Section 12.5-38 of the Champaign Municipal Code, 1985, as amended and the bid documents.To the extent required bylaw, the contractor shall complywith the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, the Veteran's Preference Act, the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act, the City's Equal Opportunity in Purchasing Ordinanceandthe Illinois Human Rights Act.If federal funds are used to finance thisproject, the contractor shall complywith the Davis-Bacon Act.
