GENERAL 1.1 Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide carpet-cleaning services that include all labor, cleaning and related equipment, and tools. 1.1a During the performance of the contract, the Contractor shall be aware at all times that buildings and surrounding areas supported under this contract represent an institution whose image reflects upon the State. It is therefore essential these facilities be maintained in the highest level of cleanliness and neatness at all times. Contractor employees are required to wear the designated uniform, identification, and shoe attire at all times during the performance of the work specified herein. A Project Manager or their designee, must be on site at all times while services are being performed. 1.1b Performance requirements summary. The Contractor shall perform to the standards outlined in these specifications and Exhibit 4 - Performance Requirements. 1.1c Quantities of Work/Additions or Deletions of Tasks. The Contractor shall perform all the tasks at frequencies listed in Exhibit 1- Task and Frequency Chart, and other related services designated herein. All Carpet (Low & High Traffic Areas) are to be serviced one time each year during the spring months.
