Fiber optic cabling is to be provided by the Owner, installed by the Contractor. Cabling will route through both new and existing duct banks on campus. All splices in manholes/handholes are to be provided by Contractor. All terminations inside data rooms are to be provided by Owner.Demolition shall consist of pull back of (3) existing fiber optic cables from the west end of the power plant tunnel to the east end of the tunnel.Electrical work shall consist of the pull back of existing fiber optic cables in the existing utility tunnel at the power plant, installation of new duct bank on campus as indicated on the drawings, and the installation of the OFCI fiber optic cabling. Contractor is to provide splices in the large vault at Havener. Owner will perform fiber terminations in all data closets.Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of Missouri University of Science & Technology, in and about Bertelsmeyer Hall, Castleman Hall, Campus Support, Power Plant, Havener, Toomey Hall and Harris Hall.
