Omak/Nespelem District Forestry currently has two (2) tree planting contracts available for bid estimated seedlings of 193,615. Planting units are located within the Green Timber Sales. All contractors should be aware that every bid should have a completed WORK PLAN and Debarment form filled out for it to an accepted bid. If no work plan or Debarment form is completed, we will "REJECT" all bids. Nontribal bidders will also need to summit a Tribal Employment Rights Office compliance and utilization plan. Selection will be made to the Lowest, Responsive, and Responsible Bidder. Due to the short work time frame the main key factor for selection will be made with vendors who can meet that need. While cost is important other factors are also significant. Consequently the Colville Tribes may select other than the lowest cost solution to be able to meet the strict time limits.
