Additionally, upon request, in accordance with South Dakota Codified Law 5-18B-1, one copy of Plans and Specifications shall be furnished, without charge, to each Contractor resident in South Dakota who intends, in good faith, to bid upon the project. Mobilization, 110,000 CuYd Unclassified Excavation, 2,625 CuYd Unsuitable Material Undercut, 1,750 CuYd 24" Compacted Clay Liner, 9,530 CuYd 12" Side Slope Cover Material, 9,500 Tons 12" Granular Drainage Material, 600 Tons Coarse Aggregate, 1,900 SqYd Geotextile Drainage Fabric, 1,040 Ft 8" HDPE Leachate Piping, Connect to Existing Leachate Piping, 1 Each Side Slope Cleanout, Extend Leachate Collection Cleanout, 1,00 Ft Landfill Containment Fence, 3.1 Acres Seeding, Fertilizing and Mulching, 2,751 Ft Straw Wattles and other items of related construction. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft payable to the order of City of Mitchell, South Dakota in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. A bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid will be accepted in lieu of a certified check or bank draft. Surety for bid bond must be authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota. Bids may be held by the City of Mitchell, for a period of not more than thirty (30) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids, investigating the qualifications of the bidders and completing financial arrangements prior to awarding the Work. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.
