Demolition, site work and new construction of a medical facility in Quincy, Washington. Design plans call for the demolition of a medical facility; for the construction of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
An architect has been selected. As of August 3, 2022 design is not yet underway as full funding approval has not yet been obtained. General contractor information has not been disclosed. Construction is not expected to begin before spring 2023. Grant County Public Hospital District #2, DBA Quincy Valley Medical Center, Quincy WA is seeking Architect and Engineering services for their replacement hospital. QVMC invites qualified firms to submit proposals to provide design and engineering services for the design and construction of their replacement hospital. QVMC recently completed a Master Facilities Plan to help inform the intended scope of the facility. The replacement facility is expected to be approximately 45,000 square feet. QVMC may reject any proposal for non-compliance or non-responsiveness with the requirements of the RFQ. Questions regarding the RFQ must be submitted by May 6, 2022, with the response to questions provided to all expressing interest in the RFQ. The anticipated schedule for the project is as follows: Proposals due: May 18, 2022. Short-list of firms June 1, 2022, interview of finalists June 13-24, intent to award bid: July 1, 2022, Board Approval of selected firm: July 22, 2022.
