Site work for a water / sewer project in Coalhurst, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Town of Coalhurst (Owner) wishes to obtain proposals from qualified Contractors for the construction of the Main Constructed Wetland. Major work items for this contract will include the following (approximation): 50,000 m2 of topsoil stripping and stockpiling. 75,000 m3 of common and waste excavation. Multiple connections to the existing stormwater collection system. Supply and installation of stormwater mains ranging in pipe diameter from 600 mm to 1,650 mm and associated structures. Construction of an RV Sanitary Disposal Site and adjacent parking area. Supply and installation of a pedestrian bridge. 100,000 m2 of topsoil placement, seeding, and hydro mulch. Supply and installation of wetland plantings and vegetation. 3-year maintenance period for all wetland plantings, vegetation, and seeding. The intent of this qualification process is to allow the Owner to rate and select eligible Contractors that will bid the necessary services to facilitate the construction of the above noted project.
