Site work and renovation of an educational facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Phase 3 of the NorQuest College Downtown Campus Development Project (DCDP) includes 3 scopes of redevelopment. Scope 1 included the redevelopment of the Civic Employees Legacy Tower (CELT streetscape and landscaping). Scope 2 includes the demolition of Centre 102, a two-storey building with a sub-basement mechanical room. Scope 3 includes a landscaped green space on the site of Centre 102 demolition. Phase 3 is the final phase of the DCDP project, which included the construction of the Singhmar Centre for Learning (Phase 1) and the CELT re-stack renovations (Phase 2). Scope 1 (CELT Landscaping) was separately tendered and substantially complete. Therefore, this proposal is only for the remaining scopes of work as follows: SCOPE 2/3 OVERVIEW: Move out coordination/services Centre 102 hazardous materials abatement Centre 102 building demolition Soil Remediation & Engineered Backfill Utility management (i.e. disconnects/capping, etc) Storm water management Landscaping incl. associated infrastructure (i.e. sidewalks, lighting, FF&E, etc) Award amount was not released for publication.
