A "continuing contract" is a contract for professional services entered into in accordance with all the procedures of this act between an agency and a firm whereby the firm provides professional services to the agency for projects in which the estimated construction cost of each individual project under the contract does not exceed $4 million, for study activity if the fee for professional services for each individual study under the contract does not exceed $500,000, or for work of a specified nature as outlined in the contract required by the agency, with the contract being for a fixed term or with no time limitation except that the contract must provide a termination clause. Firms providing professional services under continuing contracts shall not be required to bid against one another. The City of North Miami Beach reserves the right to waive any informality in any or all proposals and to reject any or all proposals. Questions of a material must be received prior to the cut-off date specified in the solicitation. Material changes, if any, to the scope of services or bidding procedures, will only be transmitted by written addendum. Proposers please note: No part of your proposal can be submitted via email, in-person or fax. No variation in price or conditions shall be permitted based upon a claim of ignorance. Submission of a proposal will be considered evidence that the Proposer has familiarized them self with the nature and extent of the work, equipment, materials, and labor required. The entire proposal response must be submitted in accordance with all specifications contained in this solicitation.
