The reconstruction of one existing traffic signal at Northgate Boulevard at Haggin Avenue, and installation of two new traffic signals on Northgate Boulevard at Wisconsin Avenue and Northgate Boulevard at Rio Tierra Avenue. The electrical work to be performed under these Special Provisions includes furnishing and installing all necessary equipment and material to install traffic signals as indicated on the Plan sheets and these Special Provisions. Note that some materials will be furnished by the City, as indicated on the Plan sheets and these Special Provisions. Other work contained in the contract includes work necessary to facilitate signal installations, such as fence relocation, minor paving, and signing and striping. This project is fully or partially funded through a federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). As such, Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) project participation requirements will apply. Successful bidders must demonstrate Good Faith Effort (GFE) in outreaching to certified M/WBE firms to participate as subcontractors on this project.
