Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work to be performed under these Special Provisions consists of resurfacing (asphalt rubber cape seal and slurry seal) various residential and collector streets within the City of Sacramento. This work shall consist of mixing asphaltic emulsion, aggregate, set-control additives, water, and spreading the mixture on properly prepared surfacing and any other work involved in constructing or placing material. This work shall also include the removal and placement of traffic striping, markings, signs, and raised pavement markers. Selected manholes and water valves shall be raised to the new grade. Installation of signal detection at traffic signals also included in this project.
