The contract includes installation of eleven (11) new CCTV cameras complete with concrete poles and camera raising and lowering devices and the removal of six (6) existing camera locations along Highway 401 from Gardiners Rd to Highway 15. The camera sites will require the expansion of the power sub-system between each of the sites and the communication sub-system between the sites and MTO Kingston Regional Office and Ottawa Communications Centre via the MTO Go Net infrastructure. Wolfe Island CCTV will include upgrading four (4) cameras located at Marysville Main Street, Dawson Point Road and Dawson Point Terminal to meet current MTO standards. This work is expected to start in July/August 2022 and will be completed on November 15, 2023. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
