This advertisement is for a Multi-Municipal Bituminous Seal Coat Contract involving the following Municipalities: West Penn Township and Walker Township. . SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted for the following: 2022 Multi-Municipal Bituminous Seal Coat West Penn Township: 56,398 S.Y. of Single Bituminous Seal Coat and 13,670 SY of Double Bituminous Seal Coat Walker Township: 72,669 S.Y. of Single Bituminous Seal Coat and 1,478 SY of Double Bituminous Seal Coat All materials must meet PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders for the 2022 Multi-Municipal Bituminous Seal Coat proposal must be PennDOT prequalified and must supply proof of prequalification. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Proposal forms, specifications and bid information can be obtained at the West Penn Township Municipal Building at the above address or by calling Katie Orlick, Secretary at 570-386-4507. The Walker Township portion of the contract will be given to the Walker Township Board of Supervisors for action at their meeting on Thursday May 5, 2022 at approximately 7:00 p.m. Each individual municipality will need to review and approve their respective portion of the bid before their individual portion is awarded. West Penn Township and Walker Township Boards of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Township.
