Renovation of a municipal facility in Washington, District of Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The scope of work includes but not limited to the cooling tower replacement at the USPS Washington DC Curseen-Morris PDC, as shown and specified. 1. Work also includes: a. Replacement of three existing cooling towers. b. Replacement of thirty-eight hydronic unit heaters. c. Replacement of seven gas-fired unit heaters. d. Replacement of eleven cabinet heaters. e. Replacement of five split systems. f. Replacement of eleven roof-mounted exhaust fans. g. Replacement of ten electric domestic water heaters. h. Associated electrical work. i. Associated fire protection work. j. Repairs to existing steel support structure for cooling towers. k. Associated repairs to existing finishes. l. Temporary removal of existing ceilings and replacement of existing ceilings to permit the above ceiling work. m. Miscellaneous roofing repairs based on the work above. Existing PVC roofing system is part of roof re-cover work performed in 2018-19 and is still under warranty. Coordinate with Facility and roofer to ensure existing warranty(ies) is not voided by this roofing work. Refer to roof re-cover and roof replacement procurement drawings for USPS Project No. B79503 and Roofing System Warranty, provided at the end of this Section as reference documents.
