Site work for a water / sewer project in Altamont, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed work is officially known as Water Main Extension in the City of Altamont, Illinois. The project shall consist of material, labor, and equipment to construct the 6" water main, hydrants, valves and other miscellaneous items and shown in the plans. Method of Payment. Unit Price. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond, bank cashier's check, bank draft or certified check for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive technicalities or to reject any or all proposals. The Contractor will be required to comply with the prevailing wages in effect at the time of the work, as established by the City of Altamont.The Engineer will schedule within five (5) days after date of Notice of Award a Pre-Construction Conference.
