Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Altamont, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
**As of June 27, 2022, this project has been awarded to Kieffer Bros Construction in the amount of $176,710.50. 2. Description of Work. The proposed work is officially known as STREET & DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS in the City of Altamont, Illinois. The project shall consist of material, labor, and equipment to a regrade of the roadway with installation of new V- curb and gutter and in such a way as to allow the City to final grade the road with aggregate. There shall also be drainage improvements inclusive of ditches, storm sewer, and other miscellaneous items, 3. Method of Payment. Unit Price. 5. Rejection of Bids The Owner reserves the right to waive technicalities or to reject any or all proposals. 6. Prevailing Wages The Contractor will be required to comply with the prevailing wages in effect at the time of the work, as established by the City of Altamont.
