Project Category Code: Docks, Steel Sheet Pile Wall Description: It is the intent of the City of Manitowoc to have a Contractor construct a single row of fender system, 260 ft in length, on an existing steel sheet pile wall along the Manitowoc River between 8th Street and 10th Street in Manitowoc, WI. There is an Add-Alternate Bid to construct one additional row of timber fender system spaced approximately 6 in. vertically above the fender system proposed in the Base Bid. The Add-Alternative Bid fender system will be constructed per the same specifications in the Base Bid. The Add-Alternate will not be included in the total cost of the Base Bid. The City shall determine the low bidder on the basis of the Base Bid Only. It is anticipated that the City will Award the Add-Alternate work if there are sufficient City funds available to complete the additional work. Site Directions: ALONG MANITOWOC RIVER BETWEEN 8TH AND 10TH STREET
