Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rothesay, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Bids Bonds in Favour of "Rothesay" in the amount of 10% of the total tender price or in the form of a certified cheque or a bid bond in the amount of $245,000. The project involves the rehabilitation of eleven streets through out Rothesay. Several streets have been identified as requiring sanitary/ storm pipe repairs prior to asphalt paving. These repairs are limited in length and mainly involve broken pipe and sags in the alignment. There are two typical rehabilitation plans being implemented: 1) Mill & Seal , 2) Pulverize and Pave. Padding and Glasgrid will be deployed as needed along the mill and seal sections to minimize reflection cracks. Some areas have been identified as having severe distress in the asphalt, so full depth asphalt repairs will be carried out. Two streets have been scheduled for new barrier curb and/or new sidewalk. Given the conditions of some of the main roadways, large area milling and paver patching will be required. Substantial Completion Date: August 31, 2022 Drawings can be picked up at the town of Rothesay, 70 Hampton Rd, Rothesay for a fee of $25 between the hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm (closed between 12:00 to 1:00)
