The Village of Raymond will ONLY be receiving and accepting bids for the 2022 Village of Raymond Paving Program via the online electronic bid service All bidders must file a "Bidders Qualification Statement," with the Village Clerk on or before 4:00 pm on Thursday, April 28, 2022. Bidders who have already submitted this document earlier this calendar year do not need to turn in another copy. This form can be submitted electronically to either the Village Clerk (clerk@raymondwi.com) or the Village Engineer (chris.stamborski@rasmith.com). Approximate quantities are as follows: 3 Mile Road: Pulverize Asphalt Pavement - 10,200 S.Y., Excavation - 250 C.Y., Crushed Limestone Base Course - 500 TONS, Asphalt Binder - 1,410 TONS, and Asphalt Surface - 930 TONS. State of Wisconsin LRIP funding available for this project. \ The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54 and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. \ Bids shall be submitted on the electronic Bid Form provided. All required blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days from the date of the bid opening. \ Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Owner in an amount of 5 percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 15 days after the Award, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to Owner as liquidated damages. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and the right to accept the Bid or Bids which best serve the interests of the Owner. \ Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price. Prime Contractor(s) shall furnish listing of all subcontractors and suppliers performing labor and supplying materials under the Contract that individually have a total value of $1,000 or more. Failure to list subcontractors or suppliers may be cause for rejection of the Bid. Owner reserves the right to postpone the award of the Contract for a period not exceeding 45 days from the date of bid opening. Bids shall remain firm for that period of time. The Owner further reserves the right to retain the security deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders during that time.
