The work to be done under this Contract consists of the following in the City of North Plains:
o Implement temporary pollution control measures
o Demolition of existing sport court, fencing and playground
o Installation of new sport court, fencing and installation
o Drainage system installation
o Underground detention system installation
o Parking lot repair
o Water Service installation
o Lighting and electrical installation. Additional and incidental Work as called for by the specifications. The awarded contractor will receive the notice to proceed on August 17th, 2022. All Work is to be completed before December 1st, 2022 or as specified. The Project is funded through a combination of Park Capital Funds and Grants. No bids will be received after the BID CLOSING time. First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure forms will be received at the above-mentioned location and date, until 4:00 PM, local time. Bids must be submitted on the prescribed forms and must be accompanied by certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond executed in favor of the CITY OF NORTH PLAINS in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to furnish to the CITY OF NORTH PLAINS a performance bond and a payment bond each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the bid. Bidders must sign all Bid Forms, and in doing so agree to comply with the statement in the Bid Form regarding compliance with the provisions of ORS 279C.840 or 40 U.S.C. 276a "Workers on Public Works to be Paid Not Less Than Prevailing Rate of Wage". Bidders must complete and submit, in a sealed envelope, the First-tier Subcontractors Disclosure Form provided. This form shall be submitted no later than two work hours after the time bids are due. Licensing per ORS 468A.720 (working with asbestos) is not required for this project. The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities. PROJECT STAFF WILL ONLY RESPOND TO QUESTIONS SUBMITTED IN WRITING to the following email address Bid.Center@3j-consulting.com. The CITY OF NORTH PLAINS may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the agency it is in the public interest to do so.
