Furnishing paving services for fiscal year 2023 (FY23), beginning on July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023, and a priced optional 12-month extension period for fiscal year 2024 (FY24), from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024, to be exercised at the District's sole discretion. Bid price sheet(s) must be included for {FY23), the optional 12- month extension for the bid package to be considered a complete submission. The District will evaluate both one and two year pricing and will determine which bid provides the best value to the District. No faxed oremail bids will be accepted. Proposers must also provide with their hard copy bid (paper) an electronic version on a flash drive containing all required documentation in Microsoft Word, Excel, or PDF format. At its option, the District reserves the right to contract with one or more contractors, in order to provide the optimum level of service and value to the District. The District's designee will administer the service agreement(s) and will be responsible for reviewing and auditing the Contractor's work for compliance on pricing, discounts and additional related requirements. This \TB does not commit the District to pay any costs incurred in the preparation and presentation of proposals orto select any firm that responds. The Contra Costa Water District (District) is requesting bids from qualified contractors for services administered through its Engineering Department for paving restoration related to the installation and repair and replacement of water services. The services requested are for asphalt paving, asphalt paving overlay, slurry sealing, asphalt grinding, traffic control, and striping services throughout the District. The District anticipates spending approximately $150,000 annually on paving services. The actual amount of paving services required during the twelve-month period may vary from any estimates provided. The successful contractor(s) will be required to provide all appropriately trained or certified personnel, supplies, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to correctly perform the required services. The District's primary objective is to obtain consistently reliable, high quality, and timely paving and concrete restoration services. Paving and concrete maintenance and repairs performed under this contract will be scheduled through the District's Engineering Department. The District has included a General Provisions attachment to help explain the District's bid and proposal process. Please read and consider these provisions carefully.
