The Governing board ("Board") of the Mt. Diablo Unified School District ("District" or Owner") will receive sealed bids for the following project, ("Project" or "Contract"): RFP 1908 - District-Wide Network Design and Local Area Network Designs for Twelve (12) Sites. Any claim by a bidder of error in its RFP must be made in compliance with section 5100 et seq. of the Public Contract Code. Any RFP that is submitted after this time shall be non-responsive and returned to the bidder. The project consists of providing an overall design of the District's future-facing network infrastructure. The network design should account for the District's needs for the next 20 years. The District's intention is to build a 20+ year network supported by a comprehensive deferred maintenance plan. All Request for Proposals (RFPs) shall be on the form provided by the District. Each RFP must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, the Instructions to Bidders. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess an Architectural License with the State of California. The Bidder's license(s) must be active and in good standing at the time of the RFP opening and must remain so throughout the term of the Contract. The District's Board reserves the right to reject any and all RFPs and/or waive any irregularity in any RFP received. The District shall award the Contract, if it awards it at all, to the firm/company that best fits the needs and scope of the project as well as lowest responsive responsible bidder based on: The base RFP amount and proposal.
