Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Concord, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Work includes, but is not limited to: mobilization and demobilization; locating District facilities to satisfy the District's USA North (811) obligations; the installation of approximately 4000 linear feet of 36-inch high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and 48- inch diameter welded steel pipe (WSP) untreated water mains and appurtenances; HDPE fusing and testing; installation of temporary above ground piping (topline); installation and testing of cathodic protection; testing of new piping; installation, monitoring, and removal of instrumentation; abandonment in place of existing main and appurtenances; abandoning via slurry fill pipes 8-inch and larger in diameter; furnishing and transporting all materials; excavation; sheeting; shoring; bracing; draining, collection and disposal of all untreated water contained within the existing pipes and all water used to flush new installed pipes; disposal of any ground water encountered to the local sewer in accordance with all applicable requirements referenced in Paragraph 01060-2.1, UNWATERING AND DEWATERING - GOVERNING REGULATIONS, whichever is more stringent; stormwater management; backfill; compaction; temporary and permanent grading; aggregate base placement; wildlife exclusion fencing installation and removal; site restoration; concrete and asphalt concrete (AC) pavement surface repairs and restoration; curb, gutter and sidewalk concrete repairs and restoration; preparing and administering traffic control; and obtaining all necessary permits. Q&A Deadline 03/01/2024 4:00 PM (PST) Bid guarantee, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid dollar amount and conforming to the prescribed bidding procedures, is required to be submitted with each bid as a guaranty to be forfeited should the bidder, if awarded the contract, fail to enter into the same, or fail to furnish in a timely manner, the bonds and/or proof of insurance. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the following: Payment Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price; Faithful Performance Bond, in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to make any awards or any rejections in what it alone considers to be in the best interest of the District; and waive any irregularities in the bids
