Pennsylvania Organization for Women in Early Recovery (POWER) is advertising for a single Prime Contract to include Exterior Brick repointing, Stone repairs and Lintel replacement. Please note that Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds have been allocated to the Contract for this Project, from the Allegheny County Department of Economic Development. As such, and because of the nature of the proposed work, federal Davis-Bacon wages will be required to be paid to employees of the firm awarded the General contract. The applicable Davis-Bacon wage decision is attached, with the appropriate wages/ fringe rates and labor classification described in the Project Manual The Owner and Architect assume no responsibility for delays or losses as a result of undeliverable emailed documents. The Bidder shall thoroughly examine and familiarize itself with the conditions, difficulties, and logistical restrictions involved to meet the requirements of this Project as described in the Bid Documents and this Invitation to Bid. Deficient understanding of the existing conditions will in no way relieve the Bidder from the contractual obligations of this Project. Any damage to existing assets as a result of the bidder's activities will be replaced at the sole expense of the bidder.
