This project will be Multiple Prime with 2 bid packages. BYR22004 General Construction and Abatement has already been awarded to GDL Best Contractors. Each Bidder for BYR22005, shall be a licensed High/ Low Voltage Electrical contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code, must possess valid and Class C10 License. at the time of bid and throughout the duration of this Contract. The Contractor's California State License number shall be clearly stated on the bidder's proposal. Low Voltage contractor must be Extron Certified for this project. The successful bidders must be registered with the State Department of Industrial Relations and have the appropriate, current California contractor's license, as indicated above, for the scope included in the bid, prior to submitting a bid . East Whittier City SD reserves the right to postpone the date and time for submission of Bid. The successful bidder shall commence work with the issuance of the Notice to Proceed and complete all work within the time period and milestones from the official start date as illustrated in the Bidding Documents. The East Whittier City SD has established a liquidated damage rate of $1,500 per calendar day for each and every calendar day that the work remains uncompleted or unaccepted by the District. Bid must conform to the requirements of the Contract Documents. These documents will be accessible to the contractors on April 22, 2022. Obtaining Bidding Documents . No Bidder may withdraw any bid for a period of five (5) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Potential applicant firms are directed NOT to make personal contact with any member of the East Whittier City School District Board of Education. Failure to abide with this requirement will result in the offending proposer's proposal either being disqualified or terminated if discovered after receiving Board approval.
