This project is at the Millcreek Youth Center located at 790 West 12th Street, Ogden, Utah. The project consists of replacing the above-ceiling water piping and remodeling the existing shower/bath rooms in the housing units. There are two housing units at the youth center and each housing unit is subdivided into two areas. One half of each building will be occupied during the construction and the occupied half will need to be operational during the construction. The existing above ceiling supply water lines will be removed and replaced in both buildings along with recirculation pumps. New water lines will also be provided to the bath/shower rooms that are being remodeled. The shower rooms located in three of the four subdivided units will be remodeled. The remodel will consist of removal of the existing ceramic floor and wall tiles, mortar beds, removal of existing toilet room accessories, lavatories, shower fixtures, water closets, floor drains, ceiling systems and lighting. New tile mortar beds, waterproofing, ceramic floor, wall and ceiling tiles will be installed. New toilet and shower room accessories, painting, lavatories, shower fixtures, water closets, floor drains, ceiling systems and lighting will also be installed in the shower/bath rooms. The existing fire sprinkler heads in the shower/bath rooms will be adjusted and replaced with new sprinkler heads. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, made payable to the Division of Facilities Construction and Management on the AIA Document A310 - 2010 Bid Bond, or equivalent, shall accompany the bid submission and in U3P. The Division of Facilities Construction and Management reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the State.
