**As of June 22, 2022, project was awarded to Banlin Construction LLC., awarded amount is $10,406,575.45 (includes WA Sales tax)* The City of Kennewick is requesting sealed bids for the construction of Fire Station #1. The project includes the construction of a two-story fire station building of approximately 23,183 sf wood frame structure with (3) apparatus bays, offices, crew living spaces, and support areas on level 1, and a conference room, training room, and administrative offices on level 2. The exterior finishes will be primarily metal panels and adhered precast stone veneer. The foundation will be Standard spread footings and insulated concrete slab with an exposed polished finish. The roof is a flat roof with single ply roofing. The apparatus bay doors are proposed to be durable, low maintenance overhead Sectional doors and side acting four-fold doors. The site design allows for drive through access to apparatus Bays and parking for the public (8-general including 3-accessible stalls), fire fighters (16 crew stalls), and administrative staff (26 stalls). The parking area is proposed asphalt with area catch basins for runoff. The station will be tied into the city sewer system for sewage treatment. Two existing buildings and associated site items will be demolished as well. Engineer's Estimate: The range of the Engineer's Estimate for this project is between $9,000,000.00 and $9,700,00.00..
