This project also includes the relocation of existing water meters and service lines along the water main alignment, and relocating existing backyard water meters and service lines out to street fronts. The project is located on South Elm Street, South Gum Street, East 3rd Avenue, East 4th Avenue, East 5th Avenue, and East 6th Avenue, including within private property adjacent to some of these locations. Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, installation of water mains and related construction, new casing and canal lining at the Columbia Irrigation District canal crossing, new water services, new fire hydrants, replacement of substandard meters and meter boxes, trench pavement restoration, concrete sidewalk and curb replacement, landscaping, and other miscellaneous work as called for on the construction plans and these special provisions. a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier s check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal.
