Site work and outdoor lighting for a road / highway in Kennewick, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.

The City of Kennewick received a grant through the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) to upgrade existing sodium luminaires with LED luminaires on all arterial roadways. At locations identified on the associated exhibit maps, the Contractor shall remove and dispose of existing inductive sodium street light luminaires located on existing City street light standards. The Contractor shall supply and install new LED street light luminaires (88w and 170w) at specified locations on said City street light standards, including all required fittings and photocells as herein specified in these special provisions, exhibit maps and the latest revision of the City of Kennewick Standard Specifications and Drawings. Where existing inductive sodium street light luminaires are installed on Benton PUD overhead power poles, the Contractor shall supply and deliver new LED street light luminaires (88w and 170w), required fittings and photocells to City of Kennewick Public Works at 1010 E. Chemical Drive, Kennewick, WA 99336, for pick-up and installation by Benton PUD personnel. Scheduling and coordination for delivery of street light fixtures and traffic control shall be directed to Benton PUD. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier s check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Kennewick.
